5. Blogs and websites are a lot harder to spider than articles.

6. Blogs and websites give Google a lot more examples of what not to rank.

7. And finally there are some more unique benefits of adding articles to your blog and website as opposed to website.

Blogs and websites are both great ways to offer value to your readers to get them to sign up, but the content on your blog is more effective because you're giving a more personal message.

If you're just writing articles as a hobby, your blog can be more of a hobby than your website. Keep that in mind if you're thinking about starting a blog.
